Best Things Nearby:
Better hotels.

Best Things About the Resort:
The food.

Resort Experience:
Dirty accommodations, linens, towels and kitchen. Chipping paint on doors, cracks on the wall, rusting door hinges, dead fly hanging from the vent, and chipped caulk around the sink. Ants in bed and throughout kitchen area. By the way, I am describing the penthouse that I received after complaining about my first room, which was worse.

Stains from bodily fluids on linens and towels. General Manager is extremely indifferent and unhelpful. In fact, he explained that he views cleanliness as subjective and believes the resort is clean despite our evidence of black stains on linens on a daily basis.

The beach around the resort is poor--the better stretch of the beach is about 5 minutes walking distance. There is never anyone at the tour desk nor at the bicycle rental desk. To sum it up, this is a horrible resort and I strongly recommend that you do not stay here. Save yourself time and money and just stay at a Motel 6 in the US. Ok, I am being unfair to Motel 6 because they are much better.
