Best Things About the Resort:
We loved Virginia Beach and the wonderful beachfront location of our timeshare (on the 6th floor). There was a sliding glass door in the bedroom, so at night I could sleep with the door open and let the sounds of the waves lull me to sleep. Fantastic! Even when I didn't feel like going to the ocean, or I was too tired from sightseeing, I could sit on the balcony and still enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach, while relaxing with a good book. Lazy days!

Resort Experience:
The resort is called "The Four Sails" because there actually were four sails, two on each side of the building, spanning its entire height. Nearby military installations in Virginia Beach had aircraft flying overhead during the day. This might get annoying for some, but I thought it was great (they stopped at sunset). One problem was that there was only one elevator in the building, so it took a while to go up and down. The swimming pool (indoor) was empty most of the time. Guess most folks preferred the ocean. Who could blame them?

Basics: Televisions (2). No washer or dryer - laundry room on the 3rd floor. Queen-size bed in master bedroom; two single beds in the 2nd bedroom; pull-out sofa in living room. Balconies overlooking the ocean from the living room, as well as the master bedroom. There was a small exercise room. There is also a restaurant attached to the resort. Although it didn't seem to be very busy, we ate there a few times, and were satisfied with our meals. Parking garage, as well as an additional lot for overflow. Some of the parking facilities made for a tight squeeze. A bigger car than my Mercury Mystique may have had problems maneauvering. Just watch out for the other fellow! Lots to see and do in this area.

The resort did not bug you with sales pitches to buy a timeshare unit. In fact, they had a rule that you could only make reservations to stay there once every 3 years. Personnel at the front desk were helpful.

You'll enjoy your stay!
