Best Things Nearby:
A small zoo at a nearby resort (watch for timeshare people). A nice shopping mall within five minutes (grocery store too).

Best Things About the Resort:
For this vacation we wanted to basically relax and not have to worry about much. In that respect the "all-inclusive" was perfect for that.

Resort Experience:
Overall the resort is nice and well kept (even considering a hurricane went through less than a month before). We had heard some rave reviews about the place and although I will recommend to friends, it has apparently been slipping each year. Several repeat guests told us that each year something else is not available from the previous year (i.e. pool side waitress, etc.).

We were traveling with our two year old daughter. We had a few minor problems in trying to schedule things. As anyone with children can tell you, they don't change schedules well. Outside of the restaurant serving breakfast (which was very good), there was not a place to get anything to drink before 11am (and to enter the restaurant you could not be in a bathing suit or without shoes - kind of a problem when you've been by the pool/ocean since 9am). Also, dinner did not start until 6:30PM (one hour time change from home) which is kind of late for your daughter, and she fell asleep a couple nights in our arms at dinner.

Our entourage (seven family members) had two two-bedroom units. We called down and asked to be located nearby. They said no problem. When we got there we were at opposite ends of the hotel and they would not attempt to accomodate us (even though the resort was at 50% occupancy). We (my wife, daughter, and I) had a first floor unit which we thought was good - nice patio, close to pool, etc. However, we had nothing but problems with noise (the resort had a beach party for some group in the lot beside the hotel and they had to use the bathroom by our room), people partying on our patio at 1am. Luckily my daughter slept well but I can't say the same for my wife and I.
