Best Things Nearby:
We were there to ski, so for us the best things nearby were the mountains. There were three great ski hills within 20 minutes of the resort. The shops in North Conway were also great, and we were able to score some wonderful deals on snowboards for the kids. If you are a shopper, there was certainly a lot of variety to choose from.

Best Things About the Resort:
The best things about this resort are the location and the scenery. Again, since we spent our week skiing, we did not do much at the resort other than eat and sleep.

Resort Experience:
The resort has a variety of accommodation types. We had a huge one-bedroom unit with two floors that was well appointed. Our friends, on the other hand, had a very old unit that was small, cramped, and very dated. Apparently, when booking, you should look for the units that sleep six.

Our unit had a huge master bedroom with a Jacuzzi, fireplace, big-screen TV, king-size bed, and bar fridge. It was wonderful to come back from a day on the slopes to soak in the tub with a drink.

There was a pullout couch in the living room and a Murphy bed. This was great for the kids, since they both got their own beds. There was also a Jacuzzi tub in the downstairs bathroom.

It was very easy to entertain in our unit, so every night our two families (eight in total) would eat dinner together. There was plenty of space for everyone, and on the last night, we discovered that the table expanded to seat eight.

This was a wonderful unit which compares very favorably to many others that we have visited. One complaint was that we did not get linen service in our unit, although our friends did in theirs.
