Best Things Nearby:
Walking to Kailua-Kona town, luaus, drinks at the Royal Kona hotel, and small beaches.

Best Things About the Resort:
Developed like an old Hawaiian village, beautiful pool/hot tub area (hot tub has a waterfall and sand bottom; pool is surrounded by tropical vegetation), units beautifully furnished and decorated with bamboo, finishing touches throughout the unit including the master bedroom's shower, and expansive lanai.

Resort Experience:
Kona Hawaiian Village is an upscale resort with very friendly staff that delivers the true meaning of aloha. The resort is beautifully laid out with buildings no higher than a coconut palm tree. The scale is very humane.

They have a wonderful weekly complimentary mai-tai party around the pool area with Hawaiian music and dance lessons. The resort is very respectful of Hawaaian traditions and has several sacred sites on the property.
