This place has everything—except being on the beach. However, you are only a 5-minute drive from the beach (if you can find parking). We stayed in a two-bedroom unit for the week. I loved that the second bedroom had 2 double beds instead of twin beds. The resort has Friday, Saturday or Sunday check-in. I recommend checking in on Friday. This is when the NEWEST buildings are available. There are 16 building on property (and growing). Five buildings are Friday check-in, six are Saturday and five are Sunday. The decor in the new buildings is very calming and neutral, not the yellow and blue in the older buildings. The unit had a stackable washer/dryer and a fully screened patio with 4 chairs. We requested a high chair and pack n' play for our youngest and it was there when we walked in.The new putt-putt golf course has 9 holes and is fun for the whole family. The best part is - it's free! There are many fun kids activities, too. We did tie-dyed shirts for 10 bucks. The activity coordinator even got a staff member to babysit our two children for a couple of the nights. The rate was only ten dollars an hour with no minimum. Don't forget to bring beach towels if you want to go to the beach. They ask that you check your towels in and out at the poolside. You can check out beach pails, shovels, balls, rafts, boogie boards, etc. for no charge. We did this one day and went to the beach. The new lazy river is GREAT and so are the pools. There really is a pool for every type of interest. The indoor pool is warm and great at night. My kids loved the kiddie pool with water that sprayed down on them. There is a large regular pool, heated whirlpool and don't forget the lazy river. There were plenty of floats available all throughout the day.If you get thirsty, check out the poolside bar and grill. The food was reasonable and tasted pretty good. We ate in the room for most lunches as it was so close to the pool. I highly recommend this resort as it is close to Broadway at the Beach (a huge shopping and entertainment complex). It is wonderful if you have kids because of all the pools, putt-putt and activities. If your children are over age 5, you can sign them up for the Kids Club and enjoy some free time. There is a Kids Night out twice a week when the hours are extended until 8:30pm. The kids watch a movie and get to eat pizza while the parent go out!
