I am so glad that we were able to spend our spring break here. No other college kids were staying here… it was not too expensive (we were expecting to share the room with one other person that ended up not coming), it came out to about 120 a night and when we split this, it was a great deal. The hotel is a family-owned and run business. Complete with a trendy outdoors bar, as well as one of the best French restaurants in Costa Rica. In the mornings, you can walk right downstairs and pick up a yummy pasty or typical breakfast from the bakery. The coffee here is really good so make sure you try it. The atmosphere is very laid back and you feel like when you are there you are living the life. You can walk out of your hotel room (complete with remote controlled AC, cable, and clean amenities) right down to the beach. If you want to try to surf, you can walk across the street, rent a board, and keep it at the hotel. Be sure to talk to the brothers that work at the front desk. They can help you with everything.
