These are beautiful, beach-front cabanas that rented for 600 pesos a night in March 2003. They are more like quartos, though, as they are concrete, not wood. There are more rustic looking cabanas elevated on stilts a row behind the beach front cabanas also.

The beachfront rooms are large and have two queen-size beds and a bathroom with hot and cold running water. The rooms would be better with cooking facilities, but I would still stay there again in a minute. A large marble porch with hammock hooks allows you to enjoy the ocean outside your front door.

Dining is limited to a good, but not budget, beachfront restaurant. A short walk to the highway is better. From there you can catch a colectivo (small white van) to Playa Del Carmen 15 minutes ride, where dining for any budget is available.

This is an RV park that doesn't look like an RV park. There are long stretches of white sand abandoned beaches in both directions, and there is the best snorkelling I've seen since before the exploitation of Isla Mujeres Garrafon and the Xel Ha lagoon.
