Wow! The rooms were very nice, with high ceilings and beautifully redone decor. We had a room with two beds (extra wide/long twins, comparable to fulls) for $160 per night.

The location is excellent -- about 4 blocks off Duval, but at the far end from Atlantic Shores (Tea Dance site). Island House (which offers day passes for the "health club" area) is just down the street.

The pool area is very nice (if small) and well tended -- the pool is kept very warm. The hot tub is large enough for four/five guys and is always available.

Breakfast (included) is substantial and good. Eating areas are provided under a roof near pool. There are approximately 10 pool chairs in the smallish pool area. The staff is VERY helpful and friendly!

One drawback: the small size of public areas makes socialization with other guests critical if you plan to use the Equator pool. We had some guests "click" to the exclusion of others, which made a tough scene in a space with no room to spread out.

On our last day, I was tired of the club/scene queens, so I took a day pass to Island House and used their pool, etc. Another wow!
