Marriott Residence Inn

We stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn in a very nice and spacious room. Our room had a kitchenette and a dataport phone, and some come with a fireplace and there is an optional high speed dataport for an additional $10 a day.

There was a fitness center, with volleyball/basketball courts, an outside barbecue, and an outdoor swimming pool, but no treadmills. The hotel did not charge for local calls and there was a breakfast buffet included in the price of the room (one night, I went to Safeway and bought some frozen strawberries and canned whipped cream to put on the waffles the next morning). There were complimentary drinks and bar food at happy hour and a complimentary shuttle to and from downtown including Amtrak and the airport, available from 7am until 10pm. I suggest you call the desk to book your shuttle ahead of time.
