This is definitely a place for the adventurous. The rooms at this "treesort" are all in tree houses. There are about eight different tree houses to choose from. We stayed in the "suite," which is the largest of them. Our tree house had a loft with two sleeping pads, a futon that pulled out to a double bed, and a master bedroom with a queen size bed. Our tree house also had its own bathroom and shower (several of the other tree houses do not have a shower and bathroom in them). We also had a refrigerator, a kitchen table, and a beautiful deck.

We stayed here with our six- and nine-year-old daughters who thought this was the greatest place. One of their favorite things to do was to feed and pet the horses that were in the field next to our tree house. They also enjoyed the tree swings and the rope bridges. One afternoon the girls signed up for tie-dying. This was taught by a woman named Sunshine who had orange hair. She showed the girls the "real" way to tie-dye and the shirts they made came out awesome.

Every morning they served a delicious breakfast in the main house (waffles, pancakes, eggs, coffee, juice, etc.) and that was a good time to get to meet some of the other guests.

This is a great place to bring your children and just relax. From the treesort it’s about a 45-minute drive to the Oregon Caves National Monument
