When I decided to spend a weekend watching the changing autumn colors in Vermont at the last minute, I had a difficult time finding a bed and breakfast that offered a good deal. But some thorough investigating on the Internet turned up the name of this wonderful inn near the northern border of the state. For me it was an extra bonus that the bed and breakfast was gay owned and operated.

My room, while the smallest and humblest of the six offered, was quite cozy and felt very lived in and cared for. The best part of the stay was the large breakfast served the next morning. This was no bagels and coffee on the run and out you go operation. The innkeepers made home cured bacon, raspberry french toast, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit and orange juice. As hungry as I was after a long jog, it was difficult finishing the large servings that they provided.

The nearby area provided wonderful opportunities for catching the changing autumn colors, and there were additional sightseeing attractions and scenic drives all within five minutes of the inn. If you want to learn more about this bed and breakfast, check out their web site at
