the Rosewood B&B is in a 1920's home that is immediately inviting with the front porch surrounded by beveled and cut glass windows that catch and reflect light in a prism of color!
Rhonda Palten invited us into a warm wood paneled entryway and showed us the dining room to our immediate left where tea and coffee were always available along with a few other treats. This is the same room where we would have breakfast the next day. You'll need to tell Rhonda if you would like a hot breakfast, so it can be prepared for you. Otherwise, there is a selection of cold cereals, fruit and yogurts, toast and jams.
Our room was upstairs in a light and airy pink English garden room with a KING SIZE BED! (sorry...not used to that out of the States!)One whole wall was etched and beveled glass windows in a room larger than whole apartments I've rented in Paris! The modern private bathroom was immaculate and huge...we could have had a party up there!
I love B&B stays! Quiet reading rooms after a hectic day seeing the sights....nice conversations with a few other tourists and wonderful advice from the hosts!
