This large, ivy covered landmark on the Inner Harbour is the 'Grand Dame' of Victoria's hotels. It was built in 1908 and was recently refurbished. The rooms are on the small side but the service & location is wonderful. Park your car at the hotel & walk to the majority of sights in Victoria.
The lobby is very British in atmosphere & they serve high tea year round. There are a couple of restaurants, 2 lounges, an indoor pool and in the lobby, some very nice, and very expensive, shops selling clothing and jewellery.
