The rates in Casa Pilar suggest that you should not expect more than the basics. The resort consists of huts made from wood and nipa. We stayed in a non-aircon hut. It has a balcony, a shower room and the bedroom, dining and living rooms all in one. There are no screens so we used mosquito nets at night. One can opt for air-conditioned rooms at higher rates.
The resort is located almost at the north side of the island but it is very near the beach front. (The whitest and finest sand stretch can be found near Friday's Resort area which is not far from Casa Pilar though).
There is only one restaurant in the resort and it is quite cheap and recommended. It serves Filipino and international cuisine.
