Phantom of the OperaHer Majesty's TheatrePrice: 17.50-47.50Evenings: Monday through Saturday 7:30pmMatinees: Tuesday and Saturday at 2:30pmPhantom of the Opera has been running in London for 20 years, and no wonder. I don't usually like musicals, but this was fantastic. The singing and acting were both excellent, of course, but it was the set and costumes that most impressed me. Between the vibrant colors, the fire, the fog, and the moving scenery, it was quite a spectacle. This show is at Her Majesty's Theatre (a theatre that changes its name from "Her" to "His" depending on who is on the throne).Tickets range in price from €17.50-€47.50. I paid €17.50 for "restricted view" seats, and it was a fine place from which to view the show. I had to lean forward in my seat, but as long as I did that I could see just fine.I bought my ticket the day of the show. If you want the more expensive seats, it might be a good idea to make reservations in advance. There is a booking charge unless you make the reservations in person at the box office.
