It is an unbelievable spectacle. The power and ferocity of it have to be seen to be believed. Over a mile long and viewable from both Zambia and Zimbabwe this is truly one of the wonders of the world. It is not far from the Zambian second city/town of Livingstone, it is an easy taxi ride to a variety of accommodation, from backpackers’ hostels and campsites in the town to expensive river lodges it is accusable for people on all budgets. At the falls there is a tourist market and be on your guard as the sellers are persistent and never give up, but take it in good spirit as it is a wonderful place. Victoria Falls is incredibly loud and powerful, but it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. You could sit for hours just looking at little details. It was a once in a lifetime experience.
