This arts & crafts village was named for a suburb of Guadalajara, Mexico and features Mexican architecture and artifacts. It is known for its more than 40 shops carrying unique merchandise such as jewelery, sculptures and paintings --much of which comes from local artisans. The quaint village has also run a free festival, Fiesta del Tlaquepaque, in mid-September to celebrate Mexican Independance Day.
