Small, intimate museum containing the sculpture of Aristide Maillot, whose elegant statues can be seen throughout Paris. Within the museum, though, are many of his smaller works which can help give the visitor a greater understanding of his larger pieces. The museum also features temporary painting exhibitions. The display galleries are wonderful spaces which work well particularly with larger canvasses. This is a very good museum to visit and then re-visit if you have the time - a lot to see but very manageable. Excellent cafe with beautiful vaulted ceilings.
