It was a nice zoo. I don’t feel the train ride is worth the $13.50 (adult combo ticket) a piece. All we could see was the back of the exhibits and no animals. If you are able to walk the zoo, it would have been fine, but we weren’t, and that’s one of the reasons we took the ride, but we were very disappointed in the train. They had very friendly people working the ticket lines. They had a lot of construction going on when we were there. They were creating a kid’s zone. The best part for us was feeding the lorikeets. I would definitely recommend doing this; having them land all on you was a unique experience for the little ones. It is not a very good zoo as far as zoos go.
