The American Tin Cannery Premium Outlets is housed inside an old warehouse that used to be a bustling cannery. When the fish disappeared around Monterey and Pacific Grove, so did the canneries and fishermen that lived off of the fish. Those buildings sat derelict for a while until someone got the idea of making it a tourist spot, to cater to the people coming to the area to see what John Steinbeck had written about. The Outlets contained inside include, but are not limited to, Nine West, Reebok, Geoffrey Beene, and Izod. There is also a great place to buy sunglasses at prices 25- to 65%-off regular retail prices.
