Dennis the Menace Park has to be the best park that I have ever visited. I was astounded by how nice it is! The creator of Dennis the Menace, Hank Ketchum had a major role in designing this park, and he did a great job. This park is more than just a playground. Far from it. The park features a nice lake where you can rent a paddleboat or feed the ducks. The park has a nice baseball diamond that is well cared for. One of the main attractions for children is an authentic Southern Pacific engine that people can climb on. One of the coolest features of the park is the fact that certain areas that children may take a tumble on, are made with a soft, high-impact absorbing material. I believe that it may be made from recycled rubber. It is really cool to walk on. This park is not only great fun for children, but also for the parents as well. It features a climbing wall, wide slides, a rope bridge, a maze of bushes, and a number of other things that everyone will enjoy. I was really impressed with this park. I wish that I had such a nice park where I live! The park is open from 10am to Sunset everyday.
