This is such a beautiful little course! It sits adjacent to the lake, and the sixth hole has a sweet little bridge in the middle, with fish in the stream below, of course. My youngest son and I had a blast. First, I made him promise me not to make fun of me, since it's been more than 30 years since I've golfed. It took him five shots to catch up with my first tee-off! But the kicker came on the last hole, when I teed-off and veered right--right in front of three 8-foot-tall pine trees. I knew I was going to have to smack that ball awfully hard to get it over, and I did--I smacked it so hard that I split the Titleist right down the middle--and of course I kept it just to prove that I'm not lying! I'm a college English professor, and I like to tell my students that if I can do that to a golf ball, just think what I could do to them!
