Ripley's Haunted Adventure in Gatlinburg is a haunted house in Gatlinburg. It is based on the story that it was a casket factory that was closed down due to some strange happenings. Now you can tour it… if you dare. The tour starts as you ride this creepy pulley-type elevator up to the second floor. The guide tells you in a dimly lit room to put your hand on the person's shoulder in front of you and not let go for any reason.

Now, this is a walking tour, and it is COMPLETELY dark. The person in the front has to feel around the maze-like house by feeling the walls until he feels an opening and can find a place to walk. Of course, along the way, unexpected things happen!!!! It is quite scary and worth the money if you like being scared. Now, don't get in front unless you want to lead, and I would not recommend getting in back... for other reasons!!!!

TIP: There are five Ripley's attractions in Gatlinburg, and if you are interested in all five of them, you can buy a combo ticket, any one of them that includes all five, and it will save you money. The Ripley's attractions include:

1) Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum
2) Ripley's Moving Theatre
3) Ripley's Davy Crockett Mini Golf
4) Ripley's Haunted Adventure
5) Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies
