Kapellbr├╝cke (chapel bridge)

This bridge is the city's most famous symbol and spans the Reuss River at the lake's end. This covered bridge was built in 1333 and was renovated in 1993, following a fire. The bridge was decorated with flowers and brightened a rainy, grey day in Lucerne.
