Culebrita: Beach Day Trip

Culebrita, a smaller version of Culebra, was pure heaven. Luis of Ocean View in Culebra arranged for us to go to Culebrita for our second day trip and it was the same drill: pack some sandwiches for lunch with a big bottle of water; drop us off before 11am; return to pick us up by 4pm.

Culebrita, when we were there, looked like an abandoned island with only a small patch of sand. If you're not careful, dried plants and cacti are around and you don't want that near your bare skin or your precious beach towels.

We went snorkeling on our own because we had our own gear, but I chose to sleep and sunbathe for most of the day.
