Your balloon pilot picks you up at your front door at approx. 4am and takes you out to the lift off site. The balloon is laid out and filled with hot air while you watch. You are instructed on how to get into the balloon and then it's time for lift off. Before you know it, you are watching the sun rise over Sedona while gently flying in a hot air balloon. You fly close to the rocks and can see the shadow of the balloon on the red rocks. It's beautiful. The pilot instructs you on the correct positions for landing and you rock back and forth a little bit. It's all very safe and enjoyable.

You are taken to a picnic area and given a continental champagne breakfast and your Hot Air Balloon Diploma. It was a wonderful experience. My daughter did get a little sick from the fumes, but it didn't diminish her fun.
