Ethel M's Chocolates and Cactus Garden

Ethel M's tour consists of three parts.

There is a self-guided walk along the candy production line tour where you can watch them making candy through glass viewing windows. Only drawback is that the process could stand being explained a little better on signs.

There is the Candy Store and Gift Shop. Each tour visitor is given a sample and you can choose which candy that you want to sample. That's quite a chore as they make lots of different candy. While their candy is quite good, it is also quite expensive. We didn't buy any as it wasn't as good as they thought it was in their pricing scheme.

Finally you can walk through the Cactus Garden at your own pace. It is nicely maintained and displays much of the desert plant life you will find in this part of the country. A good portion of the plant life displayed is labeled so you know what you are looking at. Then there is a gift shop where you can buy small cactus arrangements to take home as well as t-shirts, postcards and things like jelly made from cactus sap.

A very enjoyable half a day can be spent at Ethel M's.
