It's worth mentioning from the start that these hot springs are free. There are two buildings, one for men, one for women, with rules posted to strictly keep them seperate. There is also a rule against wearing clothing in the springs. Inside the buidling, there are four areas. The open area with benches is where you disrobe; the next area is the shower room (you are required to shower with soap before entering). Then there are two pools, one hot, one more tolerable. The rules seem strict, but I never saw anyone there to enforce them. The springs are open 24 hours a day, except for cleaning. Late night tends to attract a few gay men from Las Vegas, although there are signs posted prohibiting sexual activity. Most of the day visitors are campers from one of the campgrounds next to the springs.
