This mission was my favorite of all the missions we visited. It is referred to as the Queen of Missions and I certainly understand why. It was finished in 1820 and is one of the best preserved of the missions. The church and the living quarters have been turned into a museum and house artifacts of those that lived there as well as 18th and 19th century Mexican Art. There is a beautiful garden and a cemetary on the grounds. This is a wonderful stop. Admission is $3.00.
