This smallish museum is still a nice place to visit, with well-designed displays and interesting historical artifacts from the early days of Washington. Native American art and objects figure prominently, but there are also more familiar and recent keepsakes and photographs on display. I was happy to reminisce over Frederick & Nelson, J.P. Patches and the Wheedle, though I guess those who are not from the Northwest might find these displays confusing or tedious. There is a nice view from the roof of the museum, worth checking out if the weather is nice.
