Brooklyn Heights Promenade

There are so many spectacular views from the island of Manhattan, but you'll need to come over to Brooklyn to have the best view of Manhattan's own skyline. The Brooklyn Heights Promenade, or Esplanade, showcases its rival borough with an amazing panoramic view of Manhattan's southern tip and Lower East Side. The Esplanade itself itself is a pretty, tree-lined walkway that covers the noisy Brooklyn Queens Expressway below. Despite the persistent noise, this romantic spot nightly attracts plenty of lovers, and those who simply love the city of New York.
