Kingsly is Florida's oldest standing plantation built in the early 1800's by Zephaniah Kingsly. The plantation produced Sea Island Cotton and sugar cane. Kingsly conducted agricultural studies and is attributed with furthering the cultivation of citris fruit in Florida. The walking tour is conducted by a historical interpreter through the main house and the tabby ruins of the 23 original slave cabins.
