The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary is a popular diving and snorkeling site, owing to its spectacular coral formations and crystal-clear water. You’ll see lots of tarpon, eagle rays, lobster, tropical fish, and yellowtail.
One of the best places in the Sanctuary to dive is Looe Key, near Cudjoe Key, where the water depth ranges from 8 to 35 feet. Nearby is the Aldolphus Bush wreck, a 200 foot freighter which is in 65 feet of water. On a clear day, it can be seen from a few feet below the surface.
