It is a 15 mile round trip tram tour with guide. It is an educational experience that my entire family was able to enjoy. We learned about the wildlife and plantlife that we, as South Floridians, drive past daily. The Everglades has no match in the entire world. It is it's own ecosystem. We learned a lot about the encroachment of civilization and the effect it is having on the area. The Everglades is actually a very slow running river that goes from Lake Okeechobee to the Gulf of Mexico. The tram takes you out to an observation tower which allows you to see for miles over the flat land. There are also many aligators that congregate nearby.
