Grand Luxe Cafe

This is a large but wonderfully designed café in the Venetian. It has the same owners as the Cheesecake Factory and the same huge menu options. It takes 5 or 10 minutes just to read through and decide what to get.

My daughter and I ended up splitting the dim sum platter for $20, which was excellent. It had about seven different items, from tender ribs to spring rolls, shrimp tempura, and a chicken strip with dipping sauce.

A friend had a wonderful salad. The portions are very large. Service was good, but it took about 30 minutes to get our food.

We ate dinner this time, but on a previous trip, I ate lunch here. *A money-saving tip is to look for the "lunch selections" and order one for about a third less than the regular menu price.
