Pacini is an ideal place to go for your last night’s dinner. It's a sit-down restaurant, so expect to wait about 20-30 minutes for your main course.
The thing I love most about Pacini is their toast bar. They have this set-up where you have a grill and cupboards full of bread. You can choose a slice of bread, select a topping (garlic, garlic cheese, cream cheese, butter, etc.), and toast the bread to your liking on the grill. This is an all-you-can-eat appetizer bar to prepare you for your meal.
The menu is full of Italian cuisine, so it’s mainly pasta. I highly recommend the seafood linguine or the fettuccini. They also serve some traditional foods like steak and some Atlantic Canadian seafood dishes like salmon.
Pacini is very elegant and romantic, but also casual enough to host a large dinner party. When I first dined here it was a goodbye party for my student work group, so about 15 16- to 17-year-olds descended on the place. I'm not sure how the waitresses felt when we left!
An important note: This restaurant does NOT have a kids menu and really isn't suitable for children.
