Argyll bakeries is not at all flashy, but is good for a quick lunch, close to the ferry termianl and railway station. Starters from £1.95 include soup, prawn cocktail, garlic mushrooms, etc. Mains from £5.50 - £9.95 include lasagne, fish and chips, steak pie, curry, etc. Salads from £4.65 - £5.95. Baked potatoes from £2.60. Sandwhiches from £1.95. Hot drinks from 90p, cold drinks from 95p. Desserts 95p to £2.75.

I had a veggie burger and chips. The meal was very well cooked and I liked the veggie burger a lot. The dessert menu looked tempting, with chocolate fudge cake.

Not at all the smartest place on the block, but good for a cheap and qucik meal or snack. I went in hour when I had an hour to kill before getting a bus.
