This restaurant is out in the mountains south of Puerto Vallarta, next to a mountain stream. There were kids playing down in the stream and we would throw coins down there for them to find. We rented a jeep to get there and had a great time.
The food is really good, as is the service and atmosphere. We had homemade guacamole, which was delicious. I had a Mexican lunch which was really good, kind of a combo meal. The best was the Coco Loco, which was served in a coconut.
While we were eating, a young man singing and playing the guitar came around to entertain us. It was kind of funny when he made it perfectly clear to us that he wasn't paid by the restaurant, and worked by tips.
All in all, it was a great place to spend the afternoon.
