This is a local hangout and has super Cuban food and a very homey atmosphere. Locals will be stopping in pretty frequently for take-out on a typical evening. Try the fried pork, roast pork, palomila (fried steak), fish, and paella (call ahead for this one) -- anything they serve is just great. Entrées all come with Cuban bread and most dishes have yellow rice and black beans. Meals are served very casually in small plastic baskets. Nice fruity sangria is a great touch and finishing it all off with a wonderful flan is the way to go!

Prices are generally $10 or less with a few dishes priced a little higher. This is a short distance from the Old Town area, but worth the long walk or short ride. Since it''s a family run business, you''ll feel right at home as soon as you are seated. This is one of the places we never miss when we are on the island!!!!
