Simply put, Roscoe's IS an institution unto itself. Whoever thought that pouring maple syrup over your waffles AND chicken would be delicious? I'll pass on that and stick to my syrup on my waffles ONLY (pun intended). Try the grits and collard greens, they are delish. But be prepared for a wait on weekends and most mornings. It's a small, but very popular restaurant.
