Drai's proved to be a gem of an experience. Las Vegas has plenty of serious dining establishments, but Drai's is for the person that likes being a little ahead of everyone else. Located in the basement of the Barbary Coast, you do not suspect that you are going to see fine dining in the midst of a garish casino, but you do. Cuisine is excellent, and also exceedingly balanced. I made resevations about three hours before my friend and I wanted to eat and found there to be little standing in the way of our appetite. There is no hard and fast dress code, though you will feel out of place in T-shirt and jeans. Also, the service is extremely deferential to couples and as such my female friend and I ended up being ignored for an hour because they thought we were a couple. Caveat Emptor.
