The Gumbo Shop is a place where tourists get their cajun food, but it's probably not good enough to keep locals returning. The jambalaya is a bit dry and mild, but it tastes good if you don't know that other restaurants serve a spicier, more colorful version of the dish. The red beans and rice are excellent. We found the service to be especially helpful. And they make their own pecan pie.
