Windsor Station Restaurant is in the old train station for the town of Windsor, about 45 minutes from Ludlow VT and Okemo Mountain. When you enter, the lounge is on the right and the dining area is on the left. They've done a nice job restoring the place and every so often a train whistles by a few feet away so you don't lose sight of the structure's original purpose. The food is good and attempts to use locally available materials - be sure to try the maple butter. The presentation can be spectacular - it's up to your server to garnish and drizzle material around on the plate. I expect that depending on who you get and how busy the place is, you may have a lesser display. Judging by the conversations around us, it appeared - at least on a weekday evening - most of the crowd was local, which usually translates to decent food at a reasonable price.
