This year we stayed at Royal Cancun, we have stayed in other places before. This place is more alive and busier compared to paces that we have been before, which lowers the service and attention that you receive from staff. We didn't like the fact that people could smoke everywhere, even in the swimming pool walking in the pool with cigar and drink, it was very annoying specially if you want to relax. Check-in was a hassle they overbook the rooms and we had to move to a different category after 3 nights. All the rooms are same but the higher floors are less noisier specially higher than 3rd floor. I heard for some people they didnt have rooms and they were sent to the next hotel which is older and packed with kids. The food was okay, we really liked the Asiana restaurant, OMAR was our favorite waiter there. Spa was great, and relaxing. We used the pool and table tennis room as well. Shows at night are very interesting. I think this place should be a good choice for a low season which is less crowded. A shot out at Tory, Enzo, and Luis for the aquatic program and other activities.
