I chose this hotel based on the photos online and it is even more stunning in reality. Absolutely beautiful. THE GOOD: The visual impact of the lobby is wonderful. The king room is very spacious and very comfortable. The food menu is amazingly affordable for the level of cuisine and quality. The staff was very helpful and friendly. THE NOT SO GOOD: I stayed for a week on business and finally called for clean water glasses on the third day because they didn't give me fresh ones for some reason two days in a row. The menu has good food and great prices but go elsewhere for your cocktails. I ordered a well drink but apparently I was "misunderstood" because my tab was for Absolut. I never order by brand during happy hour (who does??) so draw your own conclusions--$20 for 2 drinks during happy hour. It was more than the entree! And, lastly, my greatest pet peeve--housekeeping totally ignores the "hang it if you'll use it" decree for towels and replaces all of them every day. I checked. I'm sure it's much faster for them to toss up already folded towels than stop to deal with/fold a used one but that's not cool when I'm just trying to do my part for the environment.
