My wife and I just returned from our fourth stay at GR Solaris and we won't go back. Our first stay was in 2006 and it was wonderful, but I must say it was our first all inclusive and first time in Cancun. This time was much less enjoyable, i.e. food and drink quality lesser, staff less attentive and helpful and overall not nearly as clean. I was quite disappointed. We had looked at other all inclusives but decided to remain faithful to GRS but each year we've been it has noticeably declined in quality and service. Marco Polo staff was very unaccomodating and food quality there was not good. We asked one pool staff to take a family photo for us and he said "I can't, I have to do my job" and proceeded to elicit water aerobics participants instead!
