Horrid facility

We arrived at the facility before a concert event to celebrate our 30 yr. wedding anniversary with friends. After getting a hard sell to upgrade our room, the clerk said that it was good that we would not be spending much time in the room as it was an older one. We walked across the street we took 2 steps into the room and said NO WAY, as it looked like a room straight out of a horror movie. The carpet was a sick blue industrial carpet that looked like it had been flooded over with mud, the bed had no bedspread and had moth/animal eaten covers, the room was hideous, curtains were very old. It looked as thou they had taken a storage room and made it a "rental" for a busy Labor Day Weekend. I walked back to the office and voiced my dissatisfaction. The clerk got the owner who came out, made no apologies, no offer to place us in the suite that the clerk had moments ago tried to upgrade us to and told me they were sold out.
