I spent 3 night at The Galt House. The location to see the Downtown was outstanding, The Louisville Slugger Museum, 4th Street Live, Louisville Slugger Field, KFC Yum Center, The Ohio River, and The Muhammed Ali Center to say a few where all with walking distance. The Hotel charges for parking at $12.00 a day and your room key is what gets you in and out of the Parking Garage. The room that I had a nice decor, well cleaned, and a good view of the Muhammed Ali Center and The Ohio River. The Hotel itself is large as it has 2 towers, the elevators were slow especially during the checking In and Out hours, the bed was okay but not as comfortable as similar scale hotels. The walls are thin and I could hear others but nothing crazy that it bother me. The price, that I paid was well worth it as it was also a lot cheaper than the average rate stated. Louisville is an interesting city.
