This hotel is perfectly situated in Old San Juan. Upon check in we were warmly greeted by the staff. There were several people available to assist us with our arrival. Our room was just what we expected: clean, comfortable and well equipped with tv, sitting space, armoir, etc. we slept well on the beds. The Chicago Burger restaurant is situated on the main floor of the hotel and has a nice outdoor seating area as well as indoor seating. They serve very good burgers. They are a bit expensive, but so was every other air down restaurant that we ate at in Old San Juan! We had breakfast in the 2nd floor dining room once. The food was good - lots of fresh fruit, but not spectacular. It was incredibly expensive. We ate there only once. Not worth the $$. There is a Subway sandwich shop just down the road. They have breakfast sandwiches for much cheaper! The concierge helped us book a snorkeling trip. The gentleman was very helpful and very informative. Great asset for first time visitors! We didn't use the casino, though we were given discount passes when we checked in. They had a live band one evening in the casino. We listened from the lobby area as our kids weren't allowed in the casino area. The 9th floor pool was nice. It is a rooftop pool area with a hottub. We enjoyed looking out over the harbor. The hotel provided separate blue towels in our room for use in the pool. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel. The location was great for checking out Old San Juan. And it was easy to make arrangements to do some adventurous stuff in other areas of the island!
